You may not realize, but there is much more to camp than those who interact directly with the kids. The activity staff is responsible for ALL the behind the scenes and maintenance of the camp, and they work extremely hard every day to make sure that the campers have the best possible time.

WEEK 9 Reminders: TUESDAY = Slopstacle Course. Bring clothes that can get messy/stained. WEDNESDAY = Bike Day. Bring bike (& helmet!!) to door D by inflatables. THURSDAY = Lake Kim Tam. FRIDAY = Shaving Cream & Squirt Gun Rally. Bring: 1 can shaving cream, squirt gun, & change of clothes.

This week is Center Stage Camp. One of the most exciting activities this week will be 8 themed Christian commercials produced by each of our 8 colored teams. Because much of our efforts will be dedicated to helping the campers come up with the best possible creations, there will be no recap videos this week. At the end of the week, campers will bring home a DVD with all of the creations from the week. We will then post the videos online as well. We may use StraightStreetKids.org periodically to update parents and campers about such things as weather or activity changes throughout the week, so be sure to check back periodically.

A week full of chemistry experiments, wild times, and a day at Kim Tam, this promises to be the most exciting week yet at Camp Straight Street. On Monday, the campers made volcanoes in preparation for the Great Igniting on Tuesday.
